Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.   Partner with the best   A Field Service Engineer will play a vital field-based role, travelling to customer sites, both onshore and offshore, across APAC region. You will provide specialist installation and maintenance support. You will perform hands-on work individually and as part of a Field Service team.   As a Field Service Engineer - Control System, you will be responsible for: Ensuring all in-field activities carried out safely complying with quality, customers' and company HSE standards and procedures. Performing inspection, checks and testing of control systems and/ or electrical systems used on Baker Hughes equipment during both installation and maintenance activities. Identifying issues, fault-find and problem solve to ensure smooth and timely progression of the works. Involving in installations, commissioning and Start Up of turbomachinery. Planned maintenance outages and unscheduled maintenance events. Fuel your passion   To be successful in this role you will: Have a focus on health, safety and the environment and be proactive in working within an interdependent HSE culture. Have a minimum 5 years of experience in machinery control system in the oil & gas, power generation or aviation industries. Have experience in machinery control system specifically in Mark VIe and or Mark Vies control system family. Have significant experience of troubleshooting, maintenance, start-up and commissioning of Gas Turbines Compressor and Gas Turbine Generator equipment and auxiliary systems. Able to travel throughout Australia and internationally, spending up to 70%-80% of the time at site. Have analytical and problem solving skills together with good interpersonal & organizational skills. Have proactive mindset towards process improvement, automation and interpersonal.
