Overview : Food Service sector application expert provide support for the regional food service sales teams and the portfolio marketing teams. This position is moderately customer facing and reports the marketing lead for North Asia. Key Responsibilities Work effectively in cross-functional teams to manage information to customers, the food service sales team, and the product management group with support related to the food service sector. Plan and organize workload against stated priorities, goals, and objectives as set by the manager. Track agreed projects/tasks and provide a summary of key activities as requested by the manager. Have marketing accountabilities for the food service sector including advertising, promotions, and representation and food service events. Develop and execute required advertising and promotional campaigns. Manage the Diversey presence at Food service conferences and trade events. Launch new products into the food service sector, working with the product management team to launch with excellence. Support for launches can include development of food service specific literature or training materials. Create appropriate literature for food service customers to communicate Diversey’s value proposition and key products and solutions. Become knowledgeable of food service applications in the Diversey application space, with an emphasis on cleaning and hygiene solutions through a combination of first-hand end user experience, competitive analysis, and understanding the technical literature for the sector. This also requires an understanding of the regulations around food service for Diversey’s applications. Provide strong written and verbal communication support for product, application, technical, and regulatory issues for both internal and external customers. Gather and maintain competitive intelligence for the product marketing teams and assist in creating competitive assessment tools for sales. Have strong presentation skills to be able to present to food service customers about Diversey applications and issues within our application space. Qualifications Four year undergraduate degree in marketing, business, Chemical Engineering, or a scientific discipline required. Prior experience in the food service industry in Diversey applications preferred Excellent verbal communication/presentation skills and writing skills Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
