Partner with the best As a Field Specialist, you'll play a vital role with our customers. Leading installation and maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You'll be the onsite expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions for customers. As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for: Managing projects to completion and communicating updates to internal and external customers Communicating technical guidance and advice to customers and third-party wellsite colleagues Analyzing and interpreting system information and data to provide effective resolution to complex problems at well sites Ensuring work is verified to enable successful customer delivery and sign-off of agreed work objectives Providing onsite support to remote operations (Handling BHAs, Rig Up and Rig Down operations) Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: High School Diploma required or equivalent to 1-2 years' industry experience. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external customers. Be able to demonstrate good hands-on knowledge of onsite basic rig operations Demonstrate experience of leading, mentoring and motivating teams in a technical environment Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues Be able to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to customer locations Be willing to gain industry experience and undergo product line training Work in a way that works for you   We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too .   In this role, you will be  working onshore at a customer’s site and be based out of our many local NAL locations.   Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
