'1) In-depth knowledge of gear manufacturing processes: hobbing, shaping, grinding, honing, and shaving. 2) Understanding of heat treatment processes (carburizing, nitriding, induction hardening) and their impact on gear performance and distortion. 3) Ability to specify and interpret gear inspection reports.
