Come Innovate Motion with us The Business Application Support Specialist will be responsible for the development and maintenance of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) operations and systems. He/she is responsible for EDI configuration changes in our ERP system (Oracle EBS), and manages the introduction of new customers/suppliers. He/she will also be responsible for contacts with our VAN. In addition, he/she will be responsible for resolving problems raised by JE's customer service department dispatch in different locations in Europe. Knowledge of EDI processes and ERP is required. Your responsibilities will be to: Responsible for the development and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange messages in partnership with VANS providers and consultants Act as an internal consultant to European JE Business partners and collaborate effectively with Business users (internal client) Ensure the proper setup in our ERP Oracle EBS         Assure reliable system and service operations                          Support Business by agreeing and implementing business requirements in a structured way Working properly with Incident Management, Change Control Management and Project Management along the defined internal IT rules and processes      Implement business requirements with the right methodology defined by IT Management     Able to operate efficiently in a multicultural matrix organization Comfortable making decisions and providing solutions to problems to team and superiors ​ Our requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent – technical background preferred Applications Experience: experience with EDI in ERP applications (Oracle / other where relevant) ideally in the manufacturing industry Minimum two years of relevant working experience in similar positions is preferred Good understanding of business processes Experience of working within structured Project Management methods preferred Advanced level of written and spoken English is required; any additional language is a benefit Good communication, social and organizational skills required Highly independent in handling tasks, autonomous and creative person with the ability to handle changing priorities Willingness to travel abroad (approximately 20%, primarily to European locations) What we offer: International and dynamic working environment A member of a global team Opportunity for continuous development Regular professional development and trainings If you are interested in this challenging position, we are looking forward to receiving your CV in English Come join our global, inclusive & diverse team Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
