Work Location: Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province; hostel is provided The role is 50% measurement services and gage calibration, 50% measurement technology automation and innovation. Role Overview: As the Senior Measurement Technology Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the quality and precision of our in-house tooling and component manufacturing . You will be responsible for managing our measurement laboratories, advising on measurement technologies, and leading measurement system innovation, data analytics and reporting. Key Responsibilities: 1. In-House Tooling and Component Measurement: Oversee the measurement and release of in-house tooling, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards. Lead the implementation of advanced measurement techniques to ensure precision and accuracy in all components. 2. Advisory Role in Measurement Systems: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to advise on in-process measurement technologies and systems, including AOI systems, VMMs, contact measurement systems, and others. Introduce the latest advancements in measurement technologies and apply this knowledge to enhance our processes. 3. Data Analytics and Reporting: Lead the integration of closed-loop data capture and analysis systems to drive data-driven decision-making. Develop and implement robust measurement data analytics and reporting frameworks to support operational excellence. 4. Laboratory Management: Manage and oversee the company's measurement laboratories, ensuring they are equipped with the latest technology and staffed with skilled professionals. Ensure safe and efficient laboratory operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality systems, measurement systems, or tooling within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Proven expertise in advanced measurement technologies and systems, including Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Vision Measurement Machines (VMMs), and contact measurement systems. Strong analytical skills with a background in data capture, analysis, and reporting. Experience in managing and leading advanced measurement laboratories. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements related to automotive manufacturing. Preferred Skills: Experience with closed-loop data systems and Industry 4.0 applications. Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
