Facility Systems Operations/ Maintenance-Understanding of how to operate and maintain power generation facilities; improving system set-up to prolong facility life and optimize O&M costs. 2. Facility Systems Knowledge- Assessing systems characteristics/parameters. Visualizing inter-relationships of functional systems for power generation facilities and power grid. Optimizing power plant operations through effective & efficient management of the transmission lines. Understanding technology and implementing all related systems and procedures. 3. Knowledge of Maintenance Practices - Utilizing engineering and preventive maintenance principles to maintain machinery and equipment at a high level of performance. Developing and implementing an integrated maintenance strategy and conducting detailed trend analysis of equipment breakdowns 4. Asset & Risk Management - Apply knowledge of applicable regulations and company policies for acquisition, maintenance and disposal of corporate assets and properties for optimal and cost- effective utilization of resources. As a parallel ability, use knowledge of risk management principles and tools in mitigating asset problems/issues to determine their root causes and necessary cost effective FCRS operations and maintenance 5. Health, Safety & Environment Management - Understanding the concepts and applications of health, safety and environment management systems and practices to achieve best-in-class health, a zero injury work environment and to drive environmental stewardship. 6. Pricing Knowledge - Understands and applies concepts, models, and practices relevant to pricing in the industry, as well as the impact of consumer and market factors, in order to develop effective strategy 7. Legal Regulatory Compliance & Standards Implementation - Understanding and overseeing compliance to relevant government and internal regulations. 8. Engineering Professional Knowledge - Possession of a designated level of technical engineering skill (e.g. mechanical, electrical, piping etc.) or knowledge and the ability to keep up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise. 9. Business Process Excellence - Understanding of the process of attaining business process excellence in order to improve efficiencies, pursue innovation and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction 10. Quality Assurance & Quality Control - Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how detailed; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time. 11. Project Management - Planning, estimating and controlling work activities to reach a desired objective on time, within budget, and accordance to specification to meet a business need. Negotiating and entering into agreements with internal/external vendor/contractors when necessary for critical tasks 12. Business & Financial Management - Analyzes business processes and cost elements. Identifies, implements and monitors possible strategies aimed at optimizing the company's profitability.
