Unleash your energy within! Be a part of the EDC Team! Lead the end-to-end development of Renewable Energy (RE) projects (e.g. Wind, Solar, Energy Storage) and/or adjacent new business opportunities in the energy space. These projects may either be greenfield or brownfield RE power plants or facilities, or, new but adjacent energy-related business or business opportunities. As Lead, you will have executive authority over the entire project lifecycle, from “cradle to grave”, and will lead, manage, and oversee each stage of development from idea incubation, to solution design and piloting, negotiating the various project execution contracts, securing the necessary regulatory and governmental authorizations, obtaining investment approvals from Board, all the way to project construction and execution, and eventual handover of the project to the operations teams. Pursue M&A opportunities, joint development opportunities with other developers, optimization projects, consulting engagements, partnerships and alliances, and any other relevant opportunity that may lead to increased revenue, increased market share, and/or decreased risk or cost for the company. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the Board level. Contribute to the development and implementation of a business development strategy and practice that aligns with EDC’s overall vision and its business goals. In the development of projects, lead or facilitate discussions and negotiations and foster collaboration with the goal of achieving alignment, support, or agreement from and among internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g. technology providers, public stakeholders, legal and financial stakeholders or advisors) alike. Set-up, organize, develop, coach and mentor, and lead and manage a team of business development professionals to achieve the company’s business development goals. This extends to other members of the projects’ various cross-functional execution and support teams.
