You will provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Your primary duties will include:       Planning, establishing, and evaluating patients for the correct type of treatment and care based on their diagnosis.      Monitoring and putting in place patient care plans with advanced monitoring techniques.      Performing advanced respiratory care modalities.      Evaluating respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcomes.        A caregiver who excels in this role:   Has strong critical thinking skills and can work under minimum supervision.        Can demonstrate decisive judgement in stressful situations.      Shows strong communication skills.        Shows empathy and compassion in a patient-centered environment.        Minimum requirements for this role include:   Associate's degree   Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.     Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board licensure   Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing through the National Board for Respiratory Care   Basic Life Support (BLS) credentialing through the American Heart Association (AHA).     Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:      Minimum 1 year experience in critical care.     Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care.    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification.     Skills: active listening, collaboration, adaptability, critical thinking, accountability, independent working and receptive to feedback.          Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
