As part of this collaborative and patient-focused environment, our nurses support both   clinical visits   and   specialized vascular procedures , helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life.   What   You’ll   Do:   Provide hands-on nursing care for patients during outpatient visits and vascular procedures   Assist   with and support procedures such as:   Sclerotherapy   Laser vein ablations   Phlebectomies   Deliver skilled care and education in our   Wound Care Clinic   Prepare patients for procedures performed with   oral anxiety medication only   (no sedation)   Collaborate with an expert interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, seamless, and compassionate care   Why   You’ll   Love This Role:   Work in a   daytime, outpatient environment   — no weekend or holiday shifts   Gain   specialized vascular and wound care experience   Be part of a supportive, highly skilled team dedicated to patient-centered care   A caregiver in this position works   Monday   through   Friday ,   ( 4x10-hour shifts),   7 :00am— 5 : 3 0pm.  No weekends/holidays.     A caregiver who excels in this role will:    Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.    Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone   triage,   and   establish   care plans.    Administer   medication   and treatments.    Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.    Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.   Assist   with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic   procedures,   and specialized patient care equipment.   Develop, evaluate,   adapt   and document health education and provide it to patients and families.    Cover other nursing roles within the department.    Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.     Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    Graduate from an accredited   S chool of   N ursing   (ADN or BSN program)   Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)    Basic Life Support (BLS)   C ertification through the American Heart Association (AHA)   One year   o f recent experience as an RN   OR   LPN, Medical   Assistant   and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience   if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but   remaining   in the same current ambulatory C leveland Clinic setting OR   a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area      Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   Bachelor ’s   of   S cience in   N ursing (BSN)      Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
