Here, you will work alongside a passionate and dedicated team, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.     When we do everything in service of our patients and caregivers, no detail gets ignored.   Under the direction of the   Facilities   Manage r ,   the   Pneumatic Tube Controls Technician   performs preventative and corrective maintenance on all areas of the pneumatic tube system.   A person in this position tests and repairs printed circuit boards and relay control   circuits and   fabricates special electrical/electronic devices for use in the construction or repair of the system.     A caregiver in this   role   works f rom   10 : 3 0 p m -   7 : 0 0a m , with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.    A caregiver who excels in this role will:    Repair and   keep   pneumatic-tube carrier system   maintained , using hand tools and precision-measuring instruments.   Decipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot   various types   of equipment malfunctions.    Locate sources of trouble, services, and   install   parts.    Provide reports and documentation as   required .   Occasionally be assigned across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations.    Other duties as assigned.     Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    High School Diploma / GED or equivalent   required .   Two years of experience within General Facilities Maintenance or related field is   required .     Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    Completion of a formal Pneumatic Tube Controls or Electro/Mechanic Technology training/educational program is preferred.   Experience in the repair and servicing of Pneumatic Tube Controls or Electro/Mechanic Technology preferred.   Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information Ability to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.) Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.) Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
