You will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.  As a Clinical Engineering (CE) Imaging Technician III, you will independently diagnose, repair, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on Imaging equipment in one or more of the modalities of interventional radiology (IR)/Cath and EP Labs, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and linear accelerators (LINAC) while supporting assigned systems with minimal vendor support.    A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday, 8:00am—5:00pm, with a primary focus in Northeast Ohio.   A caregiver who excels in this role will:   Analyze system failures of medical imaging systems and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer protocol within time standards set by service level agreements.  Perform preventive maintenance on complex medical systems and develop preventive maintenance procedures based on site specific requirements incorporating usage and other performance metrics.  Perform incoming inspections of new equipment and complete documentation for CMMS database.  Act as an enterprise resource providing technical expertise on the assigned imaging equipment.  Provide on-the-job cross training to fellow technicians for devices they are trained on.  Communicate medical device readiness and serviceability status of assigned equipment to clinical and non-clinical caregivers - including progress updates / reports for senior leaders.   Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Technology.  Successful completion of a Radiological Services Training program from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or third-party training company.  Four years of experience working with Linear Accelerators, CT scanners, MRI machines, Nuclear Medical imaging equipment, or other similar complex medical systems.
