In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.           A caregiver in this PRN position works days from 9:30AM – 6:00PM or 8:00AM – 4:30PM , with rotating weekend and on-call requirements.     A caregiver who excels in this role will:    Provide professional nursing care to patients.    Administer medication.    Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.    Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions .     Implement pain management assessments and documentation.    Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.    Follow Code Blue protocol.      Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    Graduate of an accredited LPN program   Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification   Knowledge of infection control practices    Experience with technology   Computer literacy     Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification    One year of clinical experience     Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
