You will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.     The H50 nursing unit for Colorectal Surgery is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute, which has been ranked second in the nation. Working with 16 colorectal surgeons, our dedicated and highly engaged nursing staff is focused on providing world-class medical and surgical care to patients with medical problems such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer and genetic bowel disease .          A caregiver in this position works d a y/night rotation, from 7:00PM—7:30AM or 7:00AM —7:30PM .     A caregiver who excels in this role will:    Collect, document and report patient data and observations.    Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.    Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions .       Perform routine laboratory tests.   Educate patients and family members.      Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program   Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)   Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross     Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   One year of patient care experience     Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
