Gains hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis and/or other related skills to explore careers in biomedical and/or clinical research.                           Job Details Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, student may conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting Under direct supervision, student may perform data collection and analysis.  Other duties as assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree/diploma. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Languages: N/A Certifications: N/A Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Work Experience: None required. Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. Ability to distinguish color. Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment. Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20  pounds.
