The Role As an Engineering Intern in the SCADA Escobedo 2.0 project, you will contribute to the development and integration of a SCADA system for the Assembly and Pasting areas at the Escobedo plant. This system will provide real-time, relevant information to enable accurate decision-making and improve operational efficiency. What You’ll Do (Impact Areas) Actively participate in DMS meetings with the operations team. Collaborate with external providers and plant teams in the development of SCADA software . Work on improving visualization of operational opportunities across production lines. Support integration of data for performance monitoring and decision-making. What Success Looks Like A fully functional SCADA system providing real-time visibility of key metrics. Improved decision-making and operational performance in Assembly and Pasting areas. Clear and actionable visual dashboards for line opportunities. Strong collaboration between plant teams and external providers. Core Competencies Knowledge of Ignition (SCADA platform). Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization. Understanding of TPM principles . Strong leadership , communication, and problem-solving skills. Motivation to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. What You Bring (Qualifications) Applicable Majors: Mechatronics Engineering Industrial and Systems Engineering (IMA) Mechanical Engineering (IME) Electrical Engineering (IEA) Additional Skills: Experience or interest in SCADA systems. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Analytical mindset and attention to detail. Work Model & Travel On-site at MBC, San Pedro Garza García . No travel required.
