The Role As a Process Engineer Intern in the AGM Assembly area, you will support initiatives to reduce losses in the intercell category by developing activities focused on attacking root causes and implementing control systems to ensure optimal conditions. Your work will aim to reduce defects with an annual improvement opportunity of over $400K, driving operational excellence and cost optimization. What You’ll Do (Impact Areas) Analyze and reduce losses in intercell categories within AGM Assembly. Develop and implement actions targeting root causes of failures. Design control systems to maintain conditions and prevent recurrence of defects. Build Pareto charts, trend analyses, and process capability studies for key variables. Perform impact analysis of corrective actions (before/after change). What Success Looks Like Significant reduction in intercell-related defects. Implementation of sustainable control systems ensuring zero recurrence. Data-driven insights through Pareto charts, trends, and process capability metrics. Measurable cost savings aligned with the $400K annual opportunity. Core Competencies Adaptability and teamwork. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Punctuality and focus on results. Ability to work with data visualization and statistical tools. Strong communication and documentation skills. Work Model & Travel On-site at Torreón. No travel required.
