Position Overview The Senior Accountant – Record to Report (R2R) ensures timely, accurate, and compliant financial closing and reporting. This role is focused in Fixed Assets, General Ledger reconciliations, FX reclassifications. (QAD). It is an individual contributor position, reporting to the Lead Accountant within a Shared Services environment. The role requires bilingual capabilities (Spanish–English). Key Responsibilities Daily processing of financial data.                    Perform financial analyses. Preparing account reconciliations.  Prepare and post manual journal entries, ensure all MJEs contain appropriate supporting documentation.  Approve balance sheet reconciliations and manual journal entries. Proactive reporting and resolution of unreconciled / reconciling items; propose solutions, support the risk assessment of the department and drive the mitigation of the risk. Perform month end close activities as per deadlines. Support and coordination of processes /team effectiveness. Mentoring and positive attitude to work, proactively sharing knowledge with less experienced team members to support their development. Requirements Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in General Ledger/R2R , preferably in a Shared Services environment. Proficiency in Foreign Currency Valuation, Balance Sheet Reclassification, and Fixed Asset Accounting . HFM, Onestream knowledge or equivalent reporting tool. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliation templates). Strong communication skills; fluent in Spanish and English . Nice to have: CPA/IFRS/US GAAP certifications. Knowledge of any of these ERP lis-, SAP, Iscala,Totvs, Oracle, QAD. Portuguese language skills. About Clarios: Clarios is the global leader in advanced, low-voltage battery technologies for mobility.
