You will be responsible for production planning of SKUs on specific manufacturing assets. You will conduct mid- and long-term planning through to finite scheduling. You will also work closely with plant operations, suppliers and demand to ensure a proper flow of information and operational execution. How you will contribute You will: Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally Meet your KPIs including (but not limited to) meeting or exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels and meeting waste objectives Perform root-cause analysis for continuous improvement of the plan Maintain the integrity of system data and information for supply planning Deliver master and detailed schedules and long-range plans (including capacity considerations) and material requirement plans by using system tools Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste reduction to meet company KPIs What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Experience in FMCG/CPG environment, preferably food or other fast moving, dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraint Experience in an IBP/S&OP environment Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills – and able to understand and interpret data Team player who can work with many other functions on a daily basis More about this role What you need to know about this position: You will: Prepare short and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally for further review and approvals Manage, coach and develop a team Meet your KPIs including (but not limited to) meeting or exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels and meeting waste objectives Work closely with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to deliver the category's goals Deliver performance against approved master and detailed schedules and long-range plans (including capacity considerations) and material requirement plans using system tools Be part of the construction of the supply review and escalating issues Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets and waste reduction to meet company KPIs Participate in and/or lead supply review meetings What extra ingredients you will bring: A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience and strong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment Open to learn new ways of working and willing to be hands-on in using data and systems Experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan Able to build effective teams Knowledgeable about leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chain concepts Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills Education / Certifications: Post Secondary preferred or applicable work experience APICs preferred Job specific requirements: Manufacturing or operations experience (3-5 years) Travel requirements: Minimal Work schedule: Monday to Friday ( hybrid) The expected base salary range for this position is $76,800 to $96,000 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.  In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
