To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time. The expected annualized base salary for this role is $125,000. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. How Y ou’ll Succeed   Research - As Research Associate they will work closely with Research Analyst covering  Industrials sector, which involves industry and company analysis. The Associates will learn and develop a depth of knowledge about financial analysis, covered industries and capital markets. In the role, they will build financial models and forecasts as well as harness a variety data sets to support investment recommendations and valuation analysis. They will gain valuable experience in writing detailed research reports and presentations to provide actionable insights to support investment decision-making for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, will have a strong attention to detail, and will be very excel-proficient and financial-statement-literate. Client Focus. In cooperation with the Research Analysts they will participate in regular calls with public companies to get direct data from the senior management teams, as well as ad hoc calls, meetings and industry events. The position also provides the opportunity to liaise with our Sales, Trading, Investment Banking colleagues and clients as required. Who You Are   You have attained an Undergraduate degree in Finance or business-related discipline. Preference is given to candidates who possess an MBA , CFA, CPA. Candidates who possess data analysis/compilation and programming skills would be an asset. Please include a writing sample along with your cover letter, resume and transcripts (if a recent graduate). You can demonstrate relevant work experience. Experience conducting financial analysis of companies and economics. Previous capital markets experience is highly preferred. Work experience or background in a variety of industries (e.g. Energy, Industrials etc.)   is an asset.   A strong background in accounting and finance is a preference. You are technically savvy. E xcellent knowledge of PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).  Experience in Python is an asset. ​ You love to collaborate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external clients.   You know that details matter. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to complete and explain detailed financial and statistical analysis.  Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
