Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid work model – up to 60% remote) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Service Line: Capital Projects & Infrastructure About the Role: Lead and manage the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental, Social (& Health) Impact Assessment (ESIA/ESHIA) projects across various sectors – with a strong focus on renewables (offshore & onshore wind, BESS, PV) , ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Develop and implement strategies to assess and mitigate environmental and social risks and impacts associated with client operations and projects. Prepare environmental/Social management plans (EMP/ESMP) on environmental parameters such as air, water, noise, land use, soil etc. Conduct environmental due diligence and similar assessments based on established international standards (EP, IFC, EBRD) and preparation of corrective action plans. Provide technical expertise on environmental permitting, impact studies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to design sustainable solutions that align with business goals and regulatory frameworks. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and expansion of services. Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture. Prepare high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations to support client engagement and project delivery. About You: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Experience in environmental consulting or industry, with a strong focus on EIAs/ESIAs and related permitting processes. Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale EIA/ESIA projects across various industries. Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices at local, regional, and international levels. Experience with project finance and practical knowledge of international standards - IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles will be a strong plus Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively. Fluency in English and Polish.
