In today’s business landscape, data is a key source of competitive advantage, and data centers have evolved beyond infrastructure to become strategic hubs for enterprises. Leveraging global expertise, ERM supports a wide range of clients—from major domestic corporations to cutting-edge technology firms—in solving complex challenges. This position contributes to the advancement of social infrastructure from a sustainability perspective, including energy efficiency optimization and the integration of renewable energy. Key Responsibilities: Due diligence and site selection support for data centers Concept development and definition of facility requirements Sustainability support for energy-saving and renewable energy integration Project management (progress, issue, and quality control) Technical coordination and management with domestic and international design firms, general contractors, and vendors Preparation of reports and presentation materials; stakeholder communication and consensus building   Requirements: Over 5 years of hands-on experience in data center facility management Experience in project management or team leadership Native-level Japanese proficiency Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken)   Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical and logical thinking skills to structure complex issues Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders Ability to work autonomously while valuing teamwork   Nice to Have: Certifications in architecture or facility-related fields (e.g., Architect, Building Services Engineer, Chief Electrical Engineer, Construction Management Engineer) Experience participating in meetings or client interactions in English Consulting firm experience Knowledge of major cloud platforms and IT systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Who We Are: As the world’s leading sustainability consulting firm, ERM is uniquely positioned to contribute to the environment and society through the expertise and energy of our employees worldwide.
