You'll orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes while upholding quality standards and exceeding client expectations.In this role you will play a key role in:Orchestrating the strategy, organization, and execution of engineering ventures encompassing hardware, software, and integrated system componentsCultivating and directing multidisciplinary engineering groups, including systems specialists, embedded software developers, and quality assurance professionalsSpotting and addressing technical challenges throughout the project journey while ensuring timely completion within financial parametersSpearheading process enhancement initiatives by implementing and customizing methodologies like Agile or V-model for defense-related projectsEstablishing and monitoring project timelines, key achievements, and expected outcomes in alignment with contractual obligationsYour ProfileAdvanced degree in Engineering (Master's level)At least 5 years of experience leading technical projects or providing technical direction within high-tech engineering organizations in sectors such as aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded systems, or similar mission-critical industriesComprehensive understanding of systems engineering principles: Model Based Design Engineering (MBSE), complex embedded hardware/software applications, product development cycles, and verification/validation proceduresExceptional project governance capabilities: managing scope, engaging stakeholders, allocating resources, and handling risks while collaborating effectively in diverse team environmentsSkilled in utilizing project management applications (such as MS Project, Jira, PowerBI, Polarion, Capella, Windchill)Achievement-focused, budget-conscious with a proactive mindset and innovative problem-solving approachTrack record of coordinating with diverse technical teams on sophisticated projects in highly regulated sectorsStrong interpersonal abilities with capacity to guide with authenticity and effectively engage various stakeholdersBackground in aviation, space, defense or automotive fields, along with familiarity of industry standards like DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO26262 would be advantageousWhat You'll Love About Working HereAt Capgemini Belgium we offer flexibility in more than one way: next to our hybrid way of working, where we offer you can work 70% from home, we also offer our flex abroad program.
