Where no two days are the same.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Radar Expert to join our dynamic team in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Embedded software, and modern software development practices.You will be responsible for:Investigate DSP module in AWRL6844 chip.Implement the most optimal AOA estimation method using HWA & DSP.Investigate the fast clutter removal methods with HWA & DSP.Implement the best Point Cloud Generation pipeline from the MATLAB Code on AWRL6844.Investigate the Low power mode of TI AWRL6844 chip.Investigate and implement deep sleep mode for our signal processing pipeline in AWRL6844.Implement Dense Point Cloud methods into the AWRL6844 chip from the MATLAB Code.Understand all the feature calculations. Required Skills and Competencies:Core Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of radar signal processing. Profound experience with TI mmwave radar architecture.Expert in embedded programming of ARM, EDMA, HWA, and DSP modules of TI xWR-family (AWRL6844 specifically). Previous experience with AWR6843/6443, AWR1xxx or IWR6xxx could be relevant).Good knowledge in TI mmwave radar EDMA and HWA configuration.Advanced embedded programming using DSPMATLAB incl. signal processing, phased array and instrument control toolboxesTI mmWave SDKC / C++ programming languageVersion control software (SVN),Requirements management system (DOORS)Microsoft OfficeSoft Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication, Active listeningSelf-organizing, Self-driven Team playerProblem solving, Out-of-the-box thinkingTime management and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced Embedded projects. ·Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving Embedded technologies.Fluent in English (written and spoken)German and / or French are considered as strong assetPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent 4-9 years of experience in Embedded software with focus on Radar Products.Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5.
