The Lead will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and ensure that AI solutions deliver tangible business value in alignment with regional and global objectives.Key responsibilitiesThe Lead's responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive Generative AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends for the region. They lead the identification and prioritization of AI-powered business opportunities, focusing on high-impact use cases across various functions like sales, marketing, supply chain, insights, and reporting. This involves translating business requirements into scalable architectural designs for Generative AI models, frameworks, and solutions.The Lead builds and manages high-performing GenAI teams, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. This role also involves managing the full lifecycle of the GenAI platform, from ideation to deployment and optimization.Furthermore, the Lead acts as a Generative AI advocate, communicating the strategic value of GenAI to senior executives and stakeholders while aligning solutions with enterprise standards for responsible AI, data privacy, and compliance. This includes defining and overseeing AI governance, ethical AI use, and compliance with data privacy regulations within the region. The Lead identifies, establishes, and manages strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and other organizations to expand the GenAI platform's capabilities. They also represent the organization in the AI landscape, staying updated on the latest advancements and shaping the future of AI within the industry.Key QualificationsHaving total experience of more than 18 years in IT industry.Candidates for this role should possess deep expertise in Generative AI, foundational models like LLMs, and frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.Strong proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are crucial, as is a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and data processing.The Director should have proven experience in designing scalable and secure Generative AI solutions and a solid understanding of MLOps principles and ethical AI frameworks.Key soft skills include exceptional leadership and team management abilities, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the region.Experience with multi-modal AI models, prompt engineering, or integrating agentic AI in the software development process is a plus.Candidates should have a proven track record of successful change management, stakeholder engagement, and implementing large-scale strategic programs across diverse geographies.Experience and exposure across tools in the data domain for ETL, Reporting, Data Governance, Data Transformation, Data Security as well as hands-on experience working on Databases, Data Warehouses and Data lakes.Capgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
