Job DescriptionThe SAP Test director is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all testing activities for SAP programs. This includes managing testing strategy, resources, schedules, risks, reporting, and ensuring quality across all phases of the SAP lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Define overall SAP test strategy and roadmap for the program. Experience in building test strategy for SAP ECC, S/4 HANA implementations & rollouts, large transformation programs like IT consolidation, merger/split/acquisitions etc.Hands on experience for SAP Test delivery management aligned to SAP ASAP methodology, RTM aligned to BPML & required and ensuring E2E test coverage for process & data variants, customizations, localizations etc.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong in QA methodologiesCoordinate testing across SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).Own test governance, test reporting, defect triage and resolution process.Collaborate with PMO, Functional Leads, Technical Leads, and Business SMEs, manage teams across geographies (onsite/offshore).Monitor KPIs such as defect density, test coverage, defect leakage.Test strategy, execution and delivery management for SAP Test automation using various tool like UFT, CBTA, SAP TAO, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca etc.Test strategy, execution and delivery management for SAP Performance Testing using LR or any other suitable toolCertification: SAP certification and/or QA certifications such as ISTQB are highly desirable. Primary SkillsEducation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, EngineeringExperience: Minimum of 16 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 8 years in a SAP Test Program management/ COE setup /solutioningSkills Required:Domain - Strong SAP functional knowledge (S/4HANA, ECC), module interdependenciesLeadership - Program governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigationTools - ALM, Solution Manager, Jira/Xray, TestRail, HP ALM/QCTest Process - Waterfall & Agile testing, defect management, Test Automation lifecycleSoft Skills - Negotiation, conflict resolution, executive reporting, decision-making
