Join us in helping leading Consumer Products and Retail Services (CPRS) organizations unlock the value of technology and drive scalable, sustainable growth.Your RoleAs a Linux Device Driver (LDD) Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, porting, and integrating embedded software components on Linux and ARM platforms. You’ll work on low-level programming, kernel modules, and device drivers while ensuring system stability and performance. This role demands strong debugging skills and collaboration with hardware and software teams to deliver robust solutions.In this role, you will:Design, develop, and port embedded software on Linux and ARM-based platforms.Implement and maintain Linux Kernel modules and device drivers for various hardware components.Apply expertise in C programming and data structures for efficient and optimized code.Work on OS-level concepts such as memory management, scheduling, IPC, and multi-threading/multi-processing.Perform advanced debugging using tools like JTAG, Trace32, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.Collaborate with teams to resolve integration and performance issues.Utilize GIT/GERRIT for source control and contribute to open-source activities.Stay updated with emerging trends in embedded Linux and driver development.Your ProfileExperience: 3–5 years in Embedded Linux Kernel/Device Drivers domain.Mandatory Skills:Strong programming skills in C and data structures.Expertise in Linux Kernel internals and device driver development.Solid understanding of OS concepts (memory management, scheduling, IPC, multi-threading/processing).Hands-on experience with embedded software development and porting on Linux and ARM platforms.Excellent debugging capabilities using JTAG, Trace32, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.Strong knowledge of GIT/GERRIT and exposure to open-source contributions.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with performance optimization and hardware-software integration.Qualifications: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.What You’ll Love About Working HereWe value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
