Where no two days are the same.Job DescriptionAs an Electronics Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of electronic components and PCB layouts for our clients' innovative products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet technical specifications and industry standards. You will play a key role in: Selecting mechanical and electronic components based on Component Information System, assisting design engineers in finding parts that best fit their requirementsDesigning layouts of complex printed circuit assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms, and structuresChecking PCB layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, and conformity to standards and specificationsCollaborating with circuit designers to meet performance and area improvement targetsEnsuring layout development and validation (DRC, LVS, DFM, EM, IR)Delivering high-quality full-custom layouts for analog and digital PCBsYour profileEngineering degree in electronics, telecommunication, or equivalent fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in PCB layout design and hardware/mechanical developmentExpertise in full custom layout design and strong understanding of analog HF/RF circuitsFamiliarity with fabrication techniques, limitations, and EMI/EMC constraintsProficiency with layout software (e.g., Cadence or equivalent) and MS ExcelKnowledge of components used in electronic and mechanical design, both analog and digitalExperience in circuit and mechanical design, PCB and logistics assembly line is a plusFluency in French, Dutch or English, with strong knowledge of French and English requiredAbstract thinking, technological curiosity, creativity, autonomy, initiative, rigor, and team spiritWhat You'll Love About Working Here At Capgemini Belgium we offer flexibility in more than one way: next to our hybrid way of working, where we offer you can work 70% from home, we also offer our flex abroad program.
