Where no two days are the same.Job DescriptionAs a System Engineer, you will become a valued member of our multidisciplinary development team within the Engineering department, focusing on precision-guided rocket systems for helicopters and aircraft. In this role, you will play a key part in: Developing and improving both new and existing Algorithms and Control Laws for Guidance, Navigation, Flight Controls and Aiming SystemsTesting and assessing algorithm performance using analytical methods and Monte-Carlo simulationsPerforming algorithm validation and verification (V&V) for updates and new designsSupporting integration of algorithms into hardware using code generation and Hardware-in-the-loop test rigsImproving C code generation and supporting the embedded team with algorithm integrationParticipating in trials and processing flight test dataMaintaining digital twins for current and in-development productsYour profileMaster's Degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics or Electronics3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering departmentStrong competency in mathematics and statistics with ability to work efficiently with large volumes of dataProficiency in MATLAB and SimulinkAnalytical mindset with demonstrated thoroughness in approach to problem-solvingExcellent communication skills with ability to explain complex problems in simple termsUnderstanding of the challenges of embedding real-time algorithms in micro-controllersWhat You'll Love About Working HereAt Capgemini Belgium we offer flexibility in more than one way: next to our hybrid way of working, where we offer you can work 70% from home, we also offer our flex abroad program.
