In this junior to mid-level role, you will develop your expertise while contributing to important engineering projects.In this role you will play a key role in:Supporting the design, specification, testing, and validation of propulsion system components for assigned vehicle familiesAssisting with documentation for component changes, including specifications and engineering changesParticipating in the development and execution of validation plans (DVP&R) to ensure components meet functional requirementsAnalyzing component failures and contributing to problem-solving processes under guidance from senior team membersLearning to utilize 2D and 3D design software (NX) to create and modify component designs for internal combustion engines, electric motors, and structural componentsSupporting cost reduction initiatives while maintaining component performance standardsCollaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers on part development according to established processes Your profileGood conversational English (B2, C1, C2)Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electro-mechanical, or related field)1-3 years of experience (Junior/Mid level) in the automotive industry or related engineering field, with exposure to product development processesKnowledge of automotive systems, particularly internal combustion engines and vibration/shock absorption components such as rubber-metal brackets used in cooling systems or body structuresFamiliarity with computer-aided design software, preferably NX and/or CATIABasic understanding of testing and validation methodologies in an engineering environmentGood analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solvingWillingness to learn and develop expertise in automotive engineering and propulsion systemsWhat you will love about working hereEmpowered Careers with Purpose: Work on meaningful projects that use technology to solve real-world challenges.
