Role DescriptionFunctions of Network Security Firewall Engineer includes but not limited to overall management of global infrastructure from commissioning of new firewalls, management, standards and compliance, implementations, replacements (RMAs), code upgrades, firewall related incident management, and decommissioning of EOL and defective firewalls.Responsible for configuration, deployment, and day to day management of customer next generation firewall solution (Palo alto and Juniper) in a 24x7 x365 environment.Assist monitoring, configuration changes, Firewall rule updates, accounts, and software updates.Job RequirementsTechnical Expertise:Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall operations and implementation.Knowledge of Juniper firewalls.Proficiency in Routing and Switching concepts.Familiarity with F5 load balancers.Process Knowledge:Understanding and application of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.Additional Skills:Ability to work in a 24x7x365 environment.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Excellent documentation and communication skills.Work ArrangementMust be amenable to work on a hybrid arrangement at Mall of Asia Business Complex, Pasay City.Must be amenable to work on a rotating schedule, including graveyard shifts.Preferred QualificationsCertifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), JNCIS-SEC (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist - Security), or equivalent.Experience in global infrastructure environments.Knowledge of automation tools for firewall management.
