Job DescriptionJob Description: Data Scientist – Computer VisionLocation: BangaloreExperience: 12+ yearsRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in image and video processing, deep learning frameworks, and cloud platforms, with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving OCR, facial recognition, medical imaging, and multimedia analysis, contributing to impactful applications in health technology, security, and digital media.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize computer vision models for tasks such as image classification, object detection, OCR, and video content analysis.Implement deep learning architectures using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Torch.Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to extract insights from large-scale image/video datasets.Design and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure for scalable AI applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven computer vision solutions into application software.Conduct model training, evaluation, and optimization for performance and accuracy.Ensure compliance with security standards and manage stakeholder communication throughout project lifecycles.Stay updated on emerging trends in artificial intelligence, digital imaging, and health technology.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.Technical Expertise:Programming: Python (mandatory), experience with OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Torch.Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.Computer Vision: OCR, image processing, facial recognition, medical imaging.Deep Learning & AI: Artificial Neural Networks, model training & evaluation.Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and exploratory data analysis.Familiarity with cloud computing, cloud application platforms, and security best practices.Excellent stakeholder management, client communication, and customer interaction skills.Preferred ExperienceHands-on experience in health technology, medical imaging, or multimedia applications.Exposure to audiovisual processing and video content analysis.Prior work in science & research environments.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines.
