Where no two days are the same.Job DescriptionAs an Automation (OsiPI) Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain a global governance framework for standards, applications, deviations, solutions, and measures. Your work will focus on enhancing quality, efficiency, and production capacity within the company! Together with your team, you will work on exciting projects in the pharmaceutical industry.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:Collaborating with diverse teams to translate projects requirements to integrate OSIsoft PI systems with MES, ERP, and other third-party platforms.Actively contributing to the success of projects by implementing high-availability systems and disaster recovery plans for OSIsoft PI infrastructures.Building strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide end-user training and develop documentation to ensure smooth system adoption and operation.Support in configuring, validating, and tuning PI Servers and interfaces.Experience tailoring client software including PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, and RtReports.Have good technical knowledge of OPC network protocols and other industrial communication network protocols.Your profileAs an engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you bring the following skills and qualifications:A master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent qualification).Proficiency in English and French at a professional level.Has a passion for OSIsoft PI software system implementation and maintenance.Brings at least 3 years of experience in automation and cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, for PI integration and deployment.Understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts to support predictive maintenance and optimization initiatives.What You Will Love About Working HereAt Capgemini Belgium we offer flexibility in more than one way: next to our hybrid way of working, where we offer you can work 70% from home, we also offer our flex abroad program.
