YOUR ROLEResearching and analyzing data including customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.Designing products or systems for robotic control using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles and components.Participating in fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.Coordinating operation, maintenance, and repair activities that optimize utilization of machines and equipment.Designing products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.Contribute to design reviews.YOUR PROFILEBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.5+ years Mechanical Engineering related experience. Experience using Solid Works, Pro-E, or Catia.Proficient design skills in CAD/SolidWorks software.Extensive experience in documenting design reviews.Proficient at documenting requirements.Must have experience in finite Element Analysis.Experience using hand calculations of stresses.Must have experience with GD&T.Proficient in using math software like Matlab or Mathcad.Familiar with failure modes and effects analysis.Understanding of manufacturing processes.Familiar Patent Law.Proficient in English.WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
