Job Category Engineering & Science Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced control systems for industrial automation projects and assist Plant Maintenance with troubleshooting of complex problems. This role will focus on programming PLCs and safety systems using Allen Bradley family of software products, troubleshooting complex control issues, and driving successful execution of capital projects from concept through commissioning. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Design and implement control system architectures for automated equipment and processes. Program and configure PLCs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Factory Talk software. Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD tools. Lead and manage capital projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure functionality and reliability. Train junior teammates and maintenance team personnel on control systems and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated automation solutions. Maintain compliance with NFPA, IEC, UL, and other applicable standards. Prepare detailed documentation, including user manuals and maintenance guides. Apply today and join our team of industry Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems design. Expertise in PLC programming with RS Logix Studio 5000, and Factory Talk. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience with robotics, motion control, vision systems, and Industry 4.0 concepts. Omron PLC troubleshooting experience.
