As a  Professional Services Veterinarian , you will provide training, education, and sales support to our Veterinary community and our IDEXX sales team in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In This Role This exciting opportunity will entail giving lectures, seminars, and lunch & learns on medical and scientific topics related to the Companion Animal Group to our customers Additionally, you’ll provide medical support to our Czech & Slovak sales team and will have some responsibilities for maintaining/developing KOL relationships Alongside this, you’ll be supporting the quality of the medical message and providing medical and market input for marketing decisions and sales materials We assume up to 50% of your time will be traveling to visit customers, attend industry events, or with the sales professionals to provide medical education and support to their important customers What You Will Need To Succeed A degree in Veterinary Medicine and a relevant post-graduate qualification are preferred Strong Veterinary medical and Veterinary diagnostic knowledge It’s essential that you speak Czech/Slovak and be fluent in business English Availability for business travel in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and potentially in other European countries Excellence in teaching and public speaking Ability to conduct effective one-on-one interactions with Veterinarians Organizational skills and time management Outstanding communication skills across several stakeholders, both internally and externally Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Previous commercial experience is highly beneficial What We Offer When you join IDEXX, you will find yourself in a challenging but exciting environment where you are allowed to be yourself, innovate, and grow.
