Job Description Junior Field Service Technician Apprentice In this role, you will support various service activities related to diagnostic imaging equipment across the Czech Republic. You will gain hands-on experience in the field, working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to real service operations. Key Responsibilities: • Remote Connectivity Management: One of your key responsibilities will be to ensure that GE HealthCare systems are properly connected to remote monitoring platforms. This includes:     - Connecting new systems to remote service infrastructure     - Maintaining connectivity of existing systems     - Communicating with hospital IT departments regarding network setup, security protocols, and firewall configurations • Assisting in the installation and servicing of the latest generation of medical devices (diagnostic imaging) across the country • Supporting service engineers during preventive maintenance and troubleshooting • Working in accordance with GE HealthCare procedures and safety standards • Collaborating with international service support teams • Building trust in yourself and your brand as a future Field Service Engineer Desired Characteristics: • Student of a technical university (preferred majors: biomedical engineering, electronics, medical physics – but not mandatory) • Fluent in Czech or Slovak, and able to communicate in English (reading service documentation, basic communication with global teams) • Ability to organize work efficiently and independently • Availability Monday to Friday, willingness to travel • Driving license is a plus We Offer: • Opportunity to work in an international environment • Access to GE HealthCare equipment training • All tools necessary to perform duties safely • Mentorship from experienced service engineers • Flexible working hours adapted to your study schedule Junior Field Service Technician Apprentice Na této pozici budeš podporovat servisní aktivity související s diagnostickými zobrazovacími systémy po celé České republice. Získáš praktické zkušenosti v terénu, budeš spolupracovat se zkušenými servisními inženýry a podílet se na reálných servisních zásazích.   Hlavní odpovědnosti: • Správa vzdáleného připojení: Jedním z hlavních úkolů bude zajištění správného připojení systémů GE HealthCare k platformám pro vzdálený dohled. To zahrnuje:     - Připojování nových systémů k infrastruktuře vzdáleného servisu     - Udržování spojení u již instalovaných systémů     - Komunikaci s IT odděleními nemocnic ohledně nastavení sítě, bezpečnostních protokolů a konfigurace firewallu • Asistence při instalaci a servisu nejnovější generace zdravotnických zařízení (diagnostické zobrazování) • Podpora servisních techniků při preventivní údržbě a diagnostice závad • Práce v souladu s postupy GE HealthCare a bezpečnostními standardy • Spolupráce s mezinárodními servisními týmy • Budování důvěry ve vlastní schopnosti a značku jako budoucí servisní technik Požadované předpoklady: • Student technické vysoké školy (preferované obory: biomedicínské inženýrství, elektronika, lékařská fyzika – není však podmínkou) • Plynulá znalost češtiny nebo slovenštiny • Schopnost domluvit se anglicky (čtení servisní dokumentace, základní komunikace s globálními týmy) • Schopnost efektivně a samostatně organizovat práci • Dostupnost od pondělí do pátku, ochota cestovat • Řidičský průkaz výhodou Nabízíme: • Možnost pracovat v mezinárodním prostředí • Přístup k odbornému školení na zařízení GE HealthCare • Veškeré nástroje potřebné pro bezpečný výkon práce • Mentoring od zkušených servisních techniků • Flexibilní pracovní dobu přizpůsobenou studijním povinnostem Inclusion and Diversity: GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
