Job Description Summary As an EHS Intern at GE Healthcare Egypt, you will support the implementation of the EHS management system and strengthen workplace safety culture. Key activities include site visits to ensure compliance, enhancing the PPE program for effective selection and dispatch, and assisting with EHS assessments and audits. This role offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and collaboration with regional teams. Job Description Responsibilities: Perform EHS inspections and/or site visits at customer sites to ensure compliance and workplace safety. Support EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including concern and findings closure rate, and act as Training Coordinator when required. Reinforce EHS culture among external parties (contractors, channel partners) by supporting approval processes and ensuring implementation of site safety plans and compliance with Egyptian legal requirements. Assist in maintaining and improving GE Healthcare EHS Management System (FW2.0) documentation and compliance aspects to support ISO certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001). Oversee site preparation, delivery of medical equipment, contractor management, and service activities during field visits. Contribute to technical and general duties as requested in support of the site EHS department. Establish strong relationships and collaborate with GE Healthcare employees across the region. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline). Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is an add. 0 - 2 years of experience Familiarity with Egyptian safety regulations and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Desired Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
