Job Description Senior Mechanical Engineer Experienced Mechanical engineer to join GE Healthcare HW engineering department in Rehovot developing and supporting gamma ray detectors. Essential Responsibilities Leading hardware mechanical design activities to support ongoing manufacturing and drive NPI projects and cost saving projects. Collaborating with Electronic board design engineers to define mechanical design and perform design verification activities.   Owner of verification & validation activities, technical specification & engineering documentation including drawings. Support existing production lines process and working with suppliers introducing new products’. Working with local and global cross functional teams. Qualifications: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. 8+ years industry experience in design . Proven record in Mechanical design for new hardware products from early concepts to mass manufacturing. Proven record in developing fixtures and jigs for product assembly and testing at both development and manufacturing environments.   Excellent hands-on experience with 3D CAD: Solid Works & Creo - Must Experience in product BOM build and engineering changes support. Experience in tolerance analysis and design for manufacturing.   Experience with finite element analysis tools- an advantage.   Previous experience with medical device regulation and QMS- an advantage. General Requirements Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent communication of problems and solutions. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented and able to multi-task. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Good English speaking and writing skills.
