Job Description Summary GE Healthcare’s Molecular Imaging PET/CT group is seeking an exceptional software engineer to join our dynamic software team. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure. Drive increased efficiency across the team, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse. Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge. Apply principles of SDLC and Agile methodologies, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Understand performance parameters and assess application performance. Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Proactively share information across the team. Developing complex application with C/C++/Java. Desired Characteristics/Technical Expertise: B.A./B.Sc. in CS/EE from a leading institution / experience from IDF tech units. Excellent knowledge of OO design principles and patterns. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Skilled in breaking down problems and analysing them, offering solutions and trade-offs.   Advantage skills: Experience building complex multithreaded software. Familiarity with HW/SW interfaces. Familiarity with Linux OS. Passion for quality and experience in writing well tested code. Experience working in Agile settings (Scrum/Kanban).
