Job Description Key Accountabilities  Create part numbers and develop overhaul BOM's for components, engines and powerpacks in SAP. Update and maintain these BOM's to reflect modifications, supersessions and target version of built state. Create overhaul, reuse and Reman part numbers to enable steering of overhaul production and logistic processes.  Verify BOM's with overhaul center. Develop technical solutions and design concepts for remanufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of engine and system. Responsible for design and development of Engine components including sheet metal, piping and machined parts, systems & sub-systems. Accountable for Quality, timelines and deliverables for all tasks, subtasks & projects. Create technical documentation for manufacturing, assembly, test, and trouble shooting. Manage technical changes, new releases, and bill of materials in PLM and ERP systems (Windchill and SAP). Define wear limits and criteria to assess the used parts. Improve processes and create documentation. Work closely with service team for MRO solution development. Qualifications Bachelors / Masters in mechanical engineering with 3-7 years of experience. Hands on experience on PLM systems Windchill and ERP systems, SAP. Proficient in 3D- CAD-systems, preferably Pro Engineer/CREO. Expertise and hands on experience in ISO GPS based Geometric Tolerancing. Should have strong understanding of Manufacturing processes like casting, machining, etc. Sound knowledge of Maintenance Repair & overhaul, reman processes and terminologies and overhauling specifications. Should have knowledge of Cost-effective repair / overhaul process for Engine components. Good understanding of Re-machining the components by considering wear limits. Ability to work efficiently with cross functional teams and global teams. Should be flexible, team player and working independently. Able to handle multiple tasks and projects. Passionate about handling new challenges with a drive for results. Flexible to travel based on the requirement. Good Project management and stakeholder management skill. Good communication and problem-solving skills German language is an added advantage.
