Inalfa Roof Systems is a world leading supplier for OEM automotive roof systems and still growing strong. Are you ready to grow with us? The internship will concentrate on Brushless DC (BLDC) and Brushed DC (BDC) motors used in automotive applications. The goal is to analyze their performance characteristics, conduct measurements, and create a comprehensive comparison of their main attributes. The goal is to analyze their performance characteristics, conduct measurements, and create a comprehensive comparison of their main attributes. Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Motor Selection & Setup Identify representative BLDC and BDC motors suitable for automotive roof systems. Measurement & Data Acquisition Perform tests to measure key parameters such as: Torque, Speed, Efficiency, Power consumption, Noise and vibration levels Data Analysis & Visualization Process measurement data and create clear charts and tables comparing BLDC vs. BDC performance. Overview & Evaluation Summarize findings in a structured report highlighting: Advantages and disadvantages of each motor type. Suitability for automotive roof applications. Cost and complexity considerations Optional: Explore control strategies (PWM, sensor feedback) and their impact on performance. What We Expect from You 3rd-year Bachelor student in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or similar) Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge Familiarity with motor control principles and measurement techniques Basic coding skills (C/C++, Matlab/Simulink) for data processing Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (LIN/CAN/UART) is a plus Deliverables Measurement setup and methodology Comparative data tables and graphs Final report summarizing key findings and recommendations What we offer you: We provide a good, prepared assignment and personal support during your internship You will receive a fee of €385,00 gross per month (40hrs).
