Supply Chain Specialist based in Singapore Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. What will you be doing? Learn the Smith + Nephew supply chain business processes and supporting systems, Participate in a variety of professional development opportunities aimed at familiarizing yourself with Smith+Nephew and the medical device industry, Create presentations, perform analytics, or other tasks that can be presented to director level managers, Develop a basic understanding of relevant compliance, GxP and Quality Systems standards and specifically FDA Quality System Regulations, Be assigned a mentor who will support and coach you in goal setting and ensure you successfully progress through the rotational program. Establishing of required work information template and reporting format. Extraction of requirements across International region. Collate and Analyse As Is and To Be status for Projects. Engagement of Stakeholders involved in project implementation. End to end process from initiation to post execution hyper care stage of projects. To always act in a responsible manner to avoid risk to self or to the company and comply with the workplace safety and health and security policy. Any other duties involved within the role and/or the tasks as assigned from time to time. What will you need to be successful? Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following: Basic knowledge in Supply Chain Management operations with preferably minimum 1 ~ 2 years work experience Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others. High learning agility with the ability to analyze and synthesize data. Ability to assess technical issues and develop solutions utilizing an analytical approach to problem solving.
