About the role: Through the aesthetic presentation of windows, mannequins and in-store displays across our Boutiques.  The local Fashion Visual Merchandiser is the interface between the artistic direction of the House and the sales teams. Translating the inspiration of each collection, the style and image of CHANEL via visual displays, the Local Fashion Visual Merchandising team must also ensure displays respect local market sensibilities while being reactive to stock availability. Bringing the energy of the fashion shows to life via static displays in the Boutique, the Local Fashion Visual Merchandiser must ensure the House’s visual codes are clearly relayed and consistent, while creating a memorable journey for each client. Responsibilities: Implement VM guidelines, seasonal and permanent Create appealing visual displays and store layouts to promote new collection launches Coordinate with retail and logistics departments the calendar for Brazil launches Work closely with boutique managers on SOH to improve the collections sell-thru Produce special promotions displays such as special and seasonal animations Work closely with the SWISS REGION and it’s supporters for guidance and follow-up’s for you market Actively participate in department meetings to follow up on sales achievements, co-worker’s feedback, and strategy planning Develop a mid-to-long-term local plan for the global CSR policy regarding VM tools and materials Monitor costs and work within budget: VM tools, Store Windows, Events, and Special Projects Receive global projects and guidelines for windows displays, dealing with local suppliers to adapt the project and helping source materials Coordinate with the suppliers VM seasonal boutique windows decor production according to the VM Calendar, ensure the quality is always as, per CHANEL standards and follow up on invoicing Follow-up IWD and Nice platforms as well as Teams groups for global VM content Create VM reports periodically Support the semestral markdowns Integrate and contribute to the VM Community (newsletters, training, and key info to relay) Train, guide, and support the new VM Ambassadors team Ensure that VM guidelines are being followed consistently, and in compliance with global, always In collaboration with training, manage the VM basic knowledge material for the FAs Support the Merchandising Coordinator on monthly rebalances Participate in designing and implementing a 360° fashion retail plan   Technical Knowledge and Skills: You speak Portuguese/Spanish and English – good written and verbal communication skills You have at least 2 years of documented related experience You are a self-driven, positive, and independent person You are trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and ethics You are creative and innovative Experience in basic computer software and digital photography You are detail-oriented and you have excellent organizational skills You have a passion for client experience, luxury, and beauty What you will bring to the team: Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively Understanding of, and passion for client experience Excellent communication skills Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL A keen interest for working within a collaborative environment You are energized by: The history and the heritage of The House of CHANEL The Style of CHANEL Fostering a meaningful client experience centered around inclusion and connection Building collaborative partnerships and relationships Being comfortable in the middle of complexity and ambiguity Multi-tasking within projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment Creativity and innovation by testing, learning, and taking new risks Appreciation for art, beauty, and luxury
