Job Purpose: Strengthen brand equity across paid and earned media touchpoints to maximize SOV and brand impact. Elevate and maximize brand impact to drive awareness with the aim to recruit & retain through building brand equity and desirability. Strategize the right media and PR activations across the consumer journey funnel from awareness, consideration and conversion. Lead strong collaboration with Media agencies and regional to manage and lead on all advocacy, PR and media for FBP to drive strong data led planning and implementation. Key Responsibilities: COMMUNICATION & MEDIA Partner with regional Comms team and agencies in the development of the overall media strategy Proactively contribute to FBP marketing’s campaign & sales strategy from a communications perspective. Implement Omnichannel marketing activities across a broad range of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email, Mobile, Display). Stay abreast of emerging digital tools and platforms, digital marketing trends, new technologies, and share insights with the rest of the team Manage social and digital advertising campaigns (SEM, Display, Social, Programmatic, SEO). Analyze media, digital marketing analytics reports and share insights with the team to develop optimization plans Manage and maintain the company’s owned media including websites, mobile apps, and email/CRM software Understand and market trends, brand’s audiences and competitors, and end-to-end consumer journey to drive engagements and conversions All operational matters related to procuring, managing assets, content, deadlines, scheduling and timely actionable reporting on media campaigns. Ownership of the media and comm budget; planning and purchase as per forecast while delivering maximum returns (impressions, relevant audience, recruitment, conversion) PRESS RELATIONS & ADVOCACY Establish and maintain strong relationships with agencies, publishing, beauty community, and social media groups by writing press releases and other media communications, responding to requests for information and press conferences. Communicate with media adhering to Paris Communications strategies and guidelines. Understand the division’s objectives and campaign directions, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and drive brand awareness and engagement through ownership of the PR calendar. Negotiation and management of all qualitative PR strategies, editorial placements and dedicated agreements. Monitor current market opportunities and competitors to identify new PR strategies. Actively and systematically track daily, weekly, monthly and online media for industry related and competitor news Sourcing, preparing and editing press kits and PR products , disseminate press gifts and information in a timely and organized manner (this includes KOL selection strategy, validation, budgeting and forecast of press kits and inventory management) Management of local and international press trips , negotiating the editorial agreement and liaising with the appropriate teams to create unique editorial opportunities. Own the budgeting and implementation of Press events and trips with monitoring of results, SOV, ROI and post-event reports. OTHER ESSENTIAL DELIVERABLES Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of, and ensure adherences to, Chanel Paris and CAP policies, procedures, as well as other company guidelines related to communications and Public relations devised by Paris Head Office. Ensure that regional and country requirements as well as campaign related deliverables are met in an accurate and timely manner Initiate and drive integration of FBP into Fashion Communications actions where possible. Maintain Company guidelines and image across all audience touchpoints; including but not limited to copywriting, internal and external events, etc Maintain a proactive awareness of consumer trends & industry news, including awareness of media, celebrity, cultural, social and technological trends and developments. Regular engagement & networking with regional and global Comms to share and learn from best practices with the aim to innovate and apply relevant and impactful animations locally. Accurately capture and track all departmental expenditure such as advertising costs, PR tools, events etc Person Specifications: Academic / Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications/ English Literature/ Journalism/ Marketing. Experience in related fields with solid experience in social / media/publishing preferred Experience with influencer management / relationship Business / People Competencies Google analytics and all media metrics Active in-depth understanding and highly involved in social media / digital media platforms Outgoing personality, at ease with being in public settings, public speaking and highly mobile as local and international travel is required. Leadership, team collaboration and highly independent self-starter Superior command in English, strong in Malay – able to communicate effectively and transversally Computer-literate (basic programs, eg Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint, Adobe) Leadership Excellent management, planning, and leadership skill Must be a self-starter, work independently, punctual, detail oriented, well organized and the ability to multitask with strong work ethics Must be a team player that can work well with others Must have respect and empathy for co-workers, their team and the company Excellent people manager, open to direction and A+ collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done well above and beyond
