We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Eastern Europe Finance team at CHANEL’s Prague headquarters. This is a regular-level position for someone who understands the specifics of accounting and can ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. The role involves close collaboration with our Beauty and Fashion teams and requires a proactive approach to supporting daily operations and month-end activities. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices in line with company policies Act as the main point of contact for suppliers regarding payments and invoice queries Manage employee expense claims and ensure timely reimbursements Prepare and execute supplier payment runs Post bank statements and reconcile accounts Record regular and ad-hoc journal entries accurately Support month-end closing and reporting activities Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives The ideal candidate will be: Experienced and knowledgeable – minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a solid understanding of accounting principles Open and collaborative – a team player who communicates effectively and builds positive relationships Positive and solution-oriented – approaches challenges with a constructive mindset and focuses on resolving issues Helpful and proactive – ready to support colleagues and suggest improvements to processes Adaptable and resilient – comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities Tech-savvy – familiar with financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX), analytical tools (Power BI, Power Query), and MS Office
