Join University Health Behavioral Health Cadence House as a Mental Health Technician on our overnight shift team! This full-time position is Monday–Friday, 11 PM–7:30 AM and includes additional shift differentials .     What You'll Do:   As a Mental Health Technician on our overnight shift team, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our residential care facility during the night. While your focus will primarily be on administrative tasks and facility preparation , you’ll also provide essential support for residents. Apply today to start your career as a Mental Health Technician at Cadence House and help us create brighter futures for our residents!     Qualifications   We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who meet the following minimum qualifications and can contribute to a supportive environment for our residents:     Minimum Requirements:   Education: High school diploma or equivalent ( no college degree required ).   Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 120 days of hire and maintain it for continued employment.   Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) Licensure: Complete the licensure course and exam within the first 90 days of employment. Certification must remain current per the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS).   Driver’s License: Obtain a valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver’s license . Must be comfortable and competent operating a 15-passenger van within 6 months of employment and obey all traffic laws while on duty.   Family Care Registry Clearance: Successfully clear the Family Care Registry background check.   Training: Complete all required training as outlined during orientation and by leadership within established timelines for continued employment.     Preferred Qualifications:   Patient Care Experience: Preference for candidates with documented experience assisting patients with activities of daily living ( e.g. home health or residential experience) .   Mental Health Experience: Prior experience in a mental health care setting is highly valued.
