We are seeking a Product Development Scientist – Consumables & Assays to join R&D team, who will focus on the design, development, and validation of consumables, reagents and biological assays for Sartorius product platforms. Main Responsibilities & Tasks Design and development of new biochemical reagents, consumables and assay/application, for Sartorius product platforms. Conduct patent and literature research related to biochemical reagents and consumables, compiling technical feasibility reports for projects. Interact cross-functionally to translate customer/instrument requirements and define products. Design and execute experiments, data analysis, verification/validation plans for new assays, and methodologies, and later transfer to manufacturing. Generate technical data packages, validation reports, and scientific documentation. Stay with scientific trends to identify opportunities for new assay development. Participate in intellectual property creation. Qualifications & Skills Master's degree or PhD in molecular biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Protein engineering, or other life sciences fields. Strong hands-on expertise in biomolecular interaction, protein characterization, or cell-based assays. Experience in consumables or reagent development. Knowledge of analytical method development, validation and QA processes. Strong experimental design and data analysis skills. A self-motivated individual who can work and contribute to a highly collaborative and fluid environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven software skills, e.g., Microsoft Office. Fluent in Mandarin and English. Potential for up to 10% domestic travel.
