The Environmental, Health and Safety Professional will be responsible for the implementation of all kinds of environmental, employee health and safety regulations and legislation (law, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc.). The goal is to have all necessary policies in place and keep a high standard in all fields of environmental protection and company health. Main Responsibilities & Tasks: Develop and implement policies and practices to identify / mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments Contribute to the development of the overall company health strategy Investigate accidents, environmental incidents and sources of risk for environmental problems and liaise with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents / risks and prevent their recurrence Provide advice and training on safety protocols and environmental protection and conduct audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee heath and safety Implement policies and practices to identify / mitigate hazardous conditions with negative impact on the environment Organize activities and programmes in connection with the company health program Keep close relationships with all internal stakeholders involved in company health programs and environmental performance and engage with external stakeholders like health insurance, sports clubs / holders of sports facilities Control and track success of health activities and environmental engagement Qualification & Skills: Academic Degree in Environmental Management, Health and NEBOSH certified professional or Diploma in EHS Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience Deep understanding and know how on legal framework regarding EHS protection Ability to work independently with general supervision Very analytical approach as well as project management skills Ability to influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices Mandatory - Fluent in English and Kannada About Sartorius  Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
