Job Summary The Flavorist Trainee role at IFF is designed to develop future flavor creation experts. Under the guidance of experienced flavorists, trainees learn the art and science of creating flavors, understand flavor chemistry, develop flavor profiles, and conduct sensory evaluations. This position provides foundational training prior to becoming a Flavorist. Key Responsibilities Learn flavor creation techniques, including formulation and sensory evaluation. Understand flavor chemistry and ingredient functionality. Participate in lab experiments and application testing in Sweet, Savory, and Technical areas. Support senior flavorists in creating and refining flavor formulations. Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects and customer briefs. Develop communication and presentation skills for internal and external interactions. Skills & Competencies Clear and accountable communication with effective teamwork skills. Confident presence with solid interpersonal and commercial abilities. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
